Cute cupcake crafts
How to make a cupcake bookmark craft with foam, glitter and glitter foam. Easy for kids but also fun for adults.
I love cupcakes to pieces and I could eat at least 6 a day. I hate to say it but that might not be the best idea so instead I will just make continue making some cute cupcake crafts. This little bookmark is very easy to make and a great cupcake craft for kids idea. Might get a touch messy and its a guarantee that you’ll be finding sparkles all over the place after this little craft project.
You will need – black foam, red glitter foam, white glitter foam, red glitter glue, regular glue, pencil, ruler and scissors.
With your ruler measure a piece of black foam 2 inches by 6 inches in size and cut out.
With your white glitter foam cut out a triangle with the base about 1.5 inches long, cut off the tip of the triangle to make the bottom of your cupcake.
For the top of the cupcake cut out 6 small circles from the red glitter foam. Each circle is about 1/2 an inch in size, they don’t have to be perfect circles and size isn’t crucial.
Glue the white glitter foam near the top of the black foam bookmark. The red glitter foam I used is adhesive so I just removed the sticker backing. If your red glitter foam is not adhesive just use some glue to attach the circles. Attach three circles to the top of the cupcake base, two more circles on top of the bottom layer and one circle on top.
To finish off your cupcake bookmark use your red glitter glue stick to write a name or saying. I wrote I heart you. If the glitter glue becomes a touch uncooperative, use a toothpick to move the glitter glue in place.
Makes a great gift for a cupcake lover or for valentines day.
