How about bringing the teacher an origami apple this year? Make this cute origami apple its very easy to make and a great craft for kids. You will need red origami paper, glue, green glitter, wax paper or newspaper.

First you will need to make a paper apple you can find instructions for making different origami apples here with varying degrees of difficulty.

With the tip of the glue bottle dab glue polka dots all over your apple, don’t worry about globby dots you can fix them later.

Glitter is messy business so you will need to lay a piece of wax paper or anything to catch the mess. Cover the glue dots with green glitter.

Shake off the excess glitter and fold wax paper in half so you can easily put it back in the container. If you have a a messy dot as I did in the top left corner, this is the time to pull out a toothpick and gently push on the edges of the polka dot until its a cute dot again.
